Internationally renowned teacher, Steinway Artist, Award-winning pianist, and Park University International Center for Music’s own Stanislav Ioudenitch, has been inducted into the Steinway & Sons Teacher Hall of Fame, a prestigious designation recognizing the work of North America’s most committed and passionate piano educators. 2021 marks the second class of honorees, following the Hall of Fame’s inaugural class in 2019. Mr. Ioudenitch was nominated by Steinway Piano Gallery of Kansas City’ Owner and President, Gordon McNelly, who said of the nomination, “It is an indisputable honor for us to be able to recognize Stanislav’s local and global contribution to piano education and performance with his induction into Steinway’s Teacher Hall of Fame. Stanislav’s commitment to excellence as a performer is evident by his notable achievements and as a mentor his mastery is manifested in the accomplishments of his proteges. It is our absolute privilege to have been able to nominate Stanislav for this recognition.”
This fall, Steinway Piano Gallery of Kansas City’s nomination came to life, as Stanislav Ioudenitch was formally inducted into the Steinway Teachers Hall of Fame with special events hosted at the historic Steinway factory in New York City. Ioudenitch’s name is now displayed on a commemorative display wall inside the iconic factory. “Music education has been a cornerstone of our historic company since the late 1800s, and today is no different,” said Gavin English, President of Steinway & Sons Americas. “We are very proud to work with the talented music educators inducted this fall into the Steinway & Sons Teacher Hall of Fame. These teachers foster passion, creativity, and discipline in the next generation of piano artists. Their work deserves the highest praise.”

Designed with Ioudenitch’s own European training as the foundation, at the core of all ICM studios is one-on-one studio instruction providing vital interactions between the student and master faculty. Now in its 19th season, this extremely successful music academy selects just 30 students each year to study in the historic European apprenticeship tradition. Its alumni tell the story of its success including world-renowned pianist Behzod Abduraimov, American Pianists Awards winner Kenny Broberg, and Israel Philharmonic Concertmaster David Radzynski just to name a few. On November 19th, 2021, Professor Ioudenitch’s entire piano studio will be in concert at the intimate 1900 Building. An entire evening devoted to piano lovers, this concert features all seven students. “It is extremely important for students to have performance opportunities,” said Ioudenitch. “Musicians need to have the practical training of performing. That’s what we’re trained to do, to perform in public. These young artists in my piano studio are already successful musicians. They are award winning instrumentalists, so something not to miss.” The concert will include the 2021 American Pianists Award Winner, Kenny Broberg, as the grand finale.
