AUDITION REQUIREMENTS FOR BACHELOR OF MUSIC

Piano

1. One Prelude and Fugue from the Well-Tempered Clavier by J. S. Bach
2. One complete sonata by Mozart, Haydn or Beethoven
3. One virtuoso etude by F. Chopin (except numbers 3, 6, 9, 13, 14, or 19)
4. One work of the applicant’s choice

Violin, Viola and Cello

1. Two contrasting movements of unaccompanied Bach
2. One movement of a standard concerto
3. One etude

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATE CERTIFICATE AND MASTER OF MUSIC IN PERFORMANCE

Piano

1. One complete work by a Baroque composer
2. One complete classical sonata
3. Two etudes by Chopin
4. One work or group of works by a Romantic composer
5. One work of choice

Violin, Viola and Cello

1. Two contrasting movements of unaccompanied Bach
2. One movement of a classical concerto with cadenza
3. One movement of a romantic concerto or a concert piece

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATE ARTIST DIPLOMA IN PERFORMANCE

Piano

1. A recital program of at least 60 minutes duration demonstrating a wide variety of styles.
2. Two complete concerti to include:
   1. One concerto by W. A. Mozart or L. van Beethoven
   2. One concerto from a 19th or 20th century composer.

Violin, Viola and Cello

1. A recital program of at least 60 minutes duration demonstrating a wide variety of styles.
2. Two complete concerti to include:
   1. One concerto from the 18th century
   2. One concerto from a 19th or 20th century composer.
