Jinny started playing violin from the age of five and throughout her youth.
Jinny is a Concertmaster at Korean Central Presbyterian Church in Daly City, CA and is currently attending an Artist Diploma program at San Francisco Symphony Academy Orchestra. Along with having her Master’s Degree of Music in Performance at Park University in MO, she has 10 years of teaching experience that is growing.
Jinny had her first debut concert with San Francisco Academy Orchestra in San Francisco 2017. Jinny’s teaching & practicing philosophy is; Be better than yesterday. Think and try out of the box. Always find unique and flexible ways to help students become better.
Graduated from Chung-Ang University in S.Korea and moved to Wichita Kansas to study with Alla Aranovskaya from St.Petersburg string quartet, and transferred to Park University in Kansas City, Missouri to study with Ben Sayveich and for the environment of studying with young professional musicians. After finishing her masters, she moved to bay area and start studying at San Francisco Symphony Academy with SF Orchestra musicians to study orchestration more.
