Park ICM’s own master’s candidate, Kenny Broberg, is welcomed back to Kansas City, after winning the Bronze Medal in the International Tchaikovsky Competition in June. Considered one of the major events in the international music community, the Tchaikovsky International Competition began in 1958 to reveal new talent. Kenny is scheduled to perform last, closing the competition, June 27, approximately 7:45pm Moscow time, 11:45 a.m. CST.

The “Park ICM Masters in Concert Series” continued this semester with Professor Daniel Veis and Helena Veisova in Concert. Daniel and Helena’s program included works by Beethoven, Debussy, Martinu and Dvorak. The concert and reception were held in the 1900 Building, Mission Woods, Kansas.
