Behzod Abduraimov Gets High Praise at Carnegie Hall Performance

With every performance in far reaches of the world, Behzod brings international attention and acclaim to our boutique conservatory in the Midwest. To experience our famed alum, a nice contingency of ICM Patrons travel to support him and even stayed late to greet the virtuoso at a Park University sponsored reception in Carnegie’s Shorin Club Room. The famed Uzbeki composer, Dilorom Saidaminova, was even in attendance to witness her creation’s Carnegie Hall debut, and hang out with the Kansas City crowd. Congratulations, Behzod!

Update, January 30: Laurel Wins 3rd Place Congratulations to Laurel who took 3rd in the Third Triennial Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition this past weekend. As one of four finalists, Laurel performed the Bartók: Concerto No. 2 for Violin and Orchestra, BB. 177 with the Lynn Philharmonia under the baton of Guillermo Figueroa, conductor.
